The School Day of Non-violence and Peace ( DENIP) is a non-governmental, non-official, independent, free and voluntary initiative of Non-violent and Pacifying Education, which is now practised in schools all over the world. 

It's celebrated on January 30th every year, on the anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi. It was founded by the Spanish poet Llorenç Vidal Vidal in Majorca in 1964 for a pacifying and non-violent education.
                                                                                                  

This is a message towards the people everywhere around the world.

WORLD PEACE IS POSSIBLE !

This is the song we are going to sing at school on Friday 30th to celebrate the School Day of Non-Violence and Peace

A number of peace symbols have been used in many ways in various cultures and contexts.

    If there is to be peace in the world,

     There must be peace in the nations.
      If there is to be peace in the nations,
 There must be peace in the cities.
   If there is to be peace in the cities,
              There must be peace between neighbours.
                If there is to be peace between neighbours,
  There must be peace in the home.
    If there is to be peace in the home,
  There must be peace in the heart.

5. Work and play safely.

6. Respect other's property.

7. Show good manners: Say "please" and "thank you".

8. Share.

9. Take turns.

10. Help each other.
